Why we’re different

A-1 Self Storage is family owned and run, giving you the benefit of our personal experience in the storage business since 1977.

  • Administration and set up fees cost you zero

We have no set-up fees, unlike administration fees of up to $25 at our competitors. We also have no reservation fees, and no deposits are required.

  • Insurance is optional

We won't make you buy insurance and pay an additional ongoing cost of around $10 per month, or prove you already have insurance, like many other storage places.  We offer it if you want it, or you can get insurance elsewhere, or be self-insured.

  • Buying a specialized lock - not mandatory

We don’t require you to buy a specialized lock for $20 like other facilities. The price we quote is the total price you pay, except you will need a padlock. We sell them for $5, or bring your own.

  • Reserve units for up to one week at no charge (dependent on availability)

Reservations are simple, flexible and non binding.

  • Advance notice of move out is not required

Just let us know if you’re moving. Whatever works for your schedule.

  • We Prorate back your rent

Our rental periods are month to month, and after your first month we PRORATE BACK YOUR MONEY FOR UNUSED DAYS when you leave.

  • Over 40 unit sizes

We have many different size units, including several small sizes, allowing cost effective storage.
